You gotta feel sorry for this dude who, after his illness was misdiagnosed by a doctor, lost his penis to flesh-eating bacteria.
A Mason County man who lost his penis and a testicle after he contracted a flesh-eating bacteria while in prison has won a $300,000 settlement from the state Department of Corrections.
Charlie Manning, 61, said Monday that he agreed to the settlement with the Department of Corrections (DOC) last month because he wanted the ordeal to be over. After paying his bills and attorney’s fees, Manning said, he will be left with about $115,000 and plans to hunker down in his Lake Cushman motor home and live out the rest of his life. More here.
The dude won U$300,000 but I’m pretty sure he’d rather have his penis back.
By the way, I thought flesh-eating bacteria are just creations of science fiction writers but that tells you how ignorant I am to things scientific.

Damn. What was this doctor thinking? Seriously, they should strip off his license. Cutting of a patient’s penis without his consent? That’s kinda criminal, isn’t it?
A Kentucky man sued his doctor after he awoke from a surgery and found his penis removed, instead of a circumcision performed.
Phillip Seaton, 61, alleged he went to the hospital last October and the doctor who was supposed to circumcise him amputated his penis, according to the lawsuit the man filed against Dr. John M. Patterson last week.
Mr. Seaton, and his wife Deborah, both Tennessee residents, said the doctor who performed the surgery wasn’t given the consent to do that. What Philippe Seaton told him to do was to remove “the foreskin on the penis.”
But Mr. Patterson disregarded that when he decided by himself to cut off Philippe’s manhood. Because he allegedly believed he found cancer, he didn’t put an end to the procedure in order to notify the couple and discuss with both of them the findings, like he should have. Consequently to the operation, the man experienced pain, mental anguish, as well as loss of enjoyment of life, the lawsuit said. [source]
Read the rest. No, I didn’t make it up. There really are crazy doctors out there.

So yeah. Apparently, there is a penis museum courtesy of our friends in Iceland. In case you are wondering, the penis above is from an elephant. Photo via canada.com.

Remember John Wayne Bobbit? He’s the dude who made the news headlines around the world back in the 1990s when his much abused wife decided to get back at him by cutting off his penis. Fortunately for him, the doctors were able to reattach his penis and he, remarkably, did some straight porn videos.
Anyway, I was reminded of Bobbit when I came across this news about a man who decided to cut off his own penis:
In a fit of anger after a quarrel with his girlfriend, a young man cut off his penis in Sultan Kudarat town in Shariff Kabunsuan province Sunday night, a radio dzRH report said late Monday.
The 21-year-old man, whose identity was withheld by police, went home angry after a spat with his girlfriend. He went to his room with a knife and cut off his penis.
His relatives heard him screaming as he emerged from his room holding a bloodied knife in one hand and his severed penis in the other.
His relatives rushed him to the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center, but doctors failed to immediately reattach the organ. As it turned out, his relatives, in their panic, left the penis at home.
Eww. That’s so weird. Why would a man cut off his junior? I thought it was a fake news but the source is a legitimate media outfit.
